Uncertainty Modelling in Metamodels for Fire Risk Analysis

چکیده
In risk-related research of fire safety engineering, metamodels are often applied to approximate the results complex and evacuation simulations. This approximation may cause epistemic uncertainties, inherent uncertainties simulations lead aleatory uncertainties. However, neither ‘metamodel uncertainty’ nor ‘inherent have been included in for engineering. For this reason, paper presents a metamodel that includes uncertainty risk analysis. is based on moving least squares; derived from prediction interval. The modelled with an original approach, directly using all replications scenarios without assumption specific probability distribution. generic was case study analysis road tunnel showed high accuracy. It found clear effects analysis, which makes their consideration important.

Modelling of fire count data: fire disaster risk in Ghana
Stochastic dynamics involved in ecological count data require distribution fitting procedures to model and make informed judgments. The study provides empirical research, focused on the provision of an early warning system and a spatial graph that can detect societal fire risks. It offers an opportunity for communities, organizations, risk managers, actuaries and governments to be aware of, and...
متن کاملUncertainty modelling for threat analysis
Accurate modelling of information and knowledge is central to the modern command and control (C2) process. Without models and a language for describing them, it is impossible to collaborate on C2. All information which enters a C2 system will be uncertain, and hence it is important to be able to model the uncertainty in a way that makes it possible for us to understand it. Some kinds of knowled...
متن کاملMetamodels for role-driven agent-based modelling
Agent-based modelling presents limitations in the management of the process to generate the running simulations from the initial conceptual models. That process is complex and includes theorising, modelling, designing and programming models that are intended for very different purposes. The potential involvement of several roles participating in such process may also raise communication problem...

ions in these layers. In the layered set of languages suggested by this view, the abstractions of various modelling paradigms would be defined by providing mappings from the language encoding these abstractions into a language encoding a set of computational abstractions. These would be general enough to allow one computational language to be used as the target for many modelling paradigms, and...
متن کاملUncertainty and risk in wildland fire management: a review.
Wildland fire management is subject to manifold sources of uncertainty. Beyond the unpredictability of wildfire behavior, uncertainty stems from inaccurate/missing data, limited resource value measures to guide prioritization across fires and resources at risk, and an incomplete scientific understanding of ecological response to fire, of fire behavior response to treatments, and of spatiotempor...
